Two policemen have been killed in Egypt, on Wednesday, following the detonation of a bomb on a train.
A bomb attack on a train travelling north of Cairo, in Egypt, has left two Egyptian policemen dead. The policemen had been investigating the bomb at the time of the explosion, after the train had stopped at a station.
The bomb was detonated as police officers evacuated passengers from the train, injuring a further eight people. Dozens of military and police personnel have been injured and killed in Egypt in the past few weeks following increasingly frequent and bloody clashes with militants following the overthrowing of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi, one year ago, and the violent crackdown on his supporters.
