An Israeli soldier has been critically wounded after being stabbed in Tel Aviv, in what police are describing as a ‘terrorist act’.
An Israeli soldier has been stabbed at a busy train station in Tel Aviv, leaving him critically wounded. Police are calling the incident a “terror attack”. A Palestinian man from the city of Nablus, on the West Bank, has been arrested.
The attack comes less than a week after a policeman and a Jewish teenager were killed when a Palestinian man drove his van into a crowded tram stop. Israeli police are also investigating the shooting of 22-year-old Israeli Arab Khair al-din Hamdan, following the surfacing of a video which purported to show an officer opening fire on Mr Hamdan as he walked away.
