Two women have been injured, following an explosion at a house in the Indian state of West Bengal, which was believed to have had bombs stored inside.
Two women were injured when an explosion took place inside a house in Burdwan district this morning.
“The house located at Beguntola village near Ketugram collapsed due to the impact of the blast that injured two women,” district SP Kunal Agarwal said.
The blast took place at around 8.30 am inside the house where bombs were stocked and the splinters injured the women, he said.
On Thursday, a blast in a house in Pingla claimed 12 lives.
The Khargragarh blast in the same district on October 2 last year had claimed the lives of two suspected Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh terrorists.
