At least two people have been killed, and a further 15 wounded, following a car bomb attack on a gendarmerie station, in southeastern Turkey.
Two Turkish gendarmerie were killed in a car bomb attack on their station in Turkey’s southeast, security sources said on Thursday. At least 15 others were wounded in the attack, some critically condition and sources said the death toll could rise.
Militants from the Kurdistan Workers Party, or PKK, were believed to have been behind the attack.
The attack was staged on a gendarmerie station located between Diyarbakir and Bingol provinces and clashes continued after the attack, sources said.
