At least two people have been killed, and a further three injured, following two separate shooting incidents, at shopping centres in the US state of Maryland.

One person was killed and two more people are in hospital after being shot outside a shopping mall in Bethesda. In Friday’s second incident, a woman was shot and killed eight miles (13 km) away, nearly an hour later.
A man suspected of killing his wife outside a school on Thursday could be behind the two shootings on Friday and is still at large, police say. Nearby schools and hospitals are on lockdown as police search for him.
Eulalio Tordil, 62, is a police officer with the Federal Protection Services, which provides security to US government buildings.
Police believe he killed his estranged wife Gladys Tordil outside the High Point High School on Thursday as she was picking up her children.
