At least two people are now believed to have been killed, following a shooting at the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, which is now in lockdown, with police sweeping the building.
Two people are believed to have been killed in a shooting at a UCLA engineering building, in Los Angeles, the university and local law enforcement officers have said. Previous reports had suggested the two individuals were simply injured, but their conditions had not been confirmed.
The police, supported by SWAT and FBI officers, were sweeping the building, searching for a gunman. The shooting took place at the university’s Engineering IV building.
The campus has been placed on lockdown following the incident.
