At least nine people have been killed, and dozens more are injured, after a shooting at a shopping centre, in the Germany city of Munich.
At least nine people are reported to have been killed, following a shooting at the Olympia shopping mall in the German city of Munich.
Dozens of others have been injured in the attack, though an official number has not been announced.
Police are currently undertaking a large manhunt in the area, after the suspected gunmen involved in the attack fled the scene. There are believed to have been three attackers, who are now on the run.
There is also a major police presence in the Munich district of Moosach, where the shopping centre is located, as an investigation is underway. Local residents have been urged to stay at home and avoid the streets.
Earlier reports of a second shooting in the city centre turned out to be a false alarm.
