At least one person has been killed, and another two are injured, following a machete attack, in the southern Germany.
At least one woman has been killed, and another two people have been injured, after a man attacked them with a machete in the German city of Reutlingen.
Reutlingen police have confirmed that a 21-year-old man, reported to be a Syrian migrant, has been arrested following the attack. The attack occurred outside a store in the city’s Listplatz Square.
According to German media, police believe that the man had randomly targeted passers-by, and is believed to have acted alone in the attack. His motives are currently unknown.
Reutlingen is located in southwestern Germany, around 35km south of the city of Stuttgart.
