Cargo Plane Overshoots Runway, Crashes In Italy

A cargo plane has crashed onto a busy road, after overshooting the runway, northeast of the city of Milan, in Italy.

A DHL cargo plane crashed on to a busy Italian road early on Friday morning after overshooting the runway at an airport northeast of Milan.

The two-person crew of the aircraft escaped unharmed from the incident, and there were no injuries on the ground.

The DHL 737-400 aircraft, which had flown in from Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, slid through fences after landing at Bergamo’s Orio al Serio airport.
