According to Spanish media reports, a suspect involved in terror attack in Barcelona has been killed in a shootout with police, whilst another has already been arrested.
The reports suggest that the suspect had been killed in the outskirts of the city.
One other person believed to have been involved in the attack was arrested by police earlier in the day.
Meanwhile, Catalan police have also released a picture of the man who allegedly rented the white Fiat van which was used in the attack on Barcelona’s famous Las Ramblas boulevard.
Local media named him as Driss Oukabir, who is understood to be in his 20s and was born in Morocco.
There had been earlier reports of a Spanish identification document with an Arabic name being found in the vehicle following the attack.
