North Korea has held another fresh missile test, firing a missile over northern Japan and into the sea, triggering warnings in Japan.
No effort was made by the Japanese to shoot down the missile, which flew over Japanese territory at dawn.
According to local media reports, the missile broke into three pieces before it landed.
North Korea had previously test-fired three short-range missiles into the sea on Saturday.
In the latest incident the Japanese government warned people in the missile’s flight range to take precautions, but public broadcaster NHK said there was no signs of any damage.
