An earthquake, measuring magnitude 6.0, has struck off the coast of Ecuador, less than a week after a major quake killed over 500 people in the country.
The death toll for a major earthquake, measuring magnitude 7.8, has risen to 233 people, President Rafael Correa said in a statement.
At least 22 people have been killed, after an army plane reportedly crashed, in eastern Ecuador.
